Why I’m No Longer Hiding Behind My Privilege and My Spirituality     “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” ~Anne Frank   We’re all just spiritual beings, bumbling along in human bodies, trying to make our way.   Trying to find the delicate balance between living in a physical world and embracing our higher selves. In my quest for spiritual enlightenment, I learned how to narrow my focus. I learned to tune out the noisy Facebook newsfeed, I don’t watch the news, and I avoid saying things just for the sake of controversy. For a while, this worked. As my vibe rose, I started living a life more fulfilled and happy. Whenever people around me got hung up on the latest news story, I was content to basically plug my ears and say “nanananana not listening” and go back to my abundance-minded podcasts and books. 50 Tips From My Year of Change This has been a major year of change in my life – I became a father for the first time in February, I began blogging in April, I relocated from Australia to Canada in July, and I started a new job in November. Along the way I have picked up a variety of tips that I have incorporated into my daily routine to make life happier, healthier, and more productive. Here are 50 of my favorites: 1. I was composing my picture of the Basilica at the Vatican, when I noticed three nuns walking towards me. I waited until they were in the frame and took multiple shots, to get the exact composition I was waiting for. MICK RYAN, JUDGE: This is a holiday snap, but a great one. The power of three, or the rule odds, is important in photography. Pythagorus called it the magic number. Look at a triangle and how that is more satisfying to the brain compared to a square. Apart from that, you can see these nuns, walking in unison, are satisfied after their visit to the Vatican.
